Brooklane Project
Collaboration with Native Grains Woodcraft
Our Brooklane Project was a collaboration between Takada Woodworking and Native Grains Woodcraft. This work began with architectural prints and designer specifications through a general contractor. It evolved to include an innovative pizza oven pullout, an angle on the range’s hood, paper towel nook and storage drawer, hands-free trash pullout (they’re like magic when you’re working in the kitchen!), a custom broom closet, and numerous other features.
The details matter in every project. This house’s spaciousness leaves room to show them off. We built cabinetry for a painted family room, a stained oak bathroom vanity with custom furniture feet, a laundry room, scullery, and kitchen. The kitchen is a showpiece—we felt it come together when the over 12-foot island was set in place and trimmed out. Don’t miss the crown on this one, too! The 10”+ crown on top of the kitchen cabinets to the ceiling pulls this project together.
