Peoria Project

This project showcased the beauty of bamboo across a kitchen and two bathrooms in a new residential construction.

The kitchen island was customized with wheels and built to operate as a piece of mobile furniture. The two-toned laminate countertops were built in-house and incorporate different textures—smooth vs stonelike—for different cooking and baking needs around the room.

We used a specialty router bit to create the custom cabinet doors, incorporating finger pulls into the bamboo for a minimalistic, handle-free look. The kitchen and two bathrooms have additional finished end panels, creating bamboo nooks for trash cans that are easily accessible and easy to clean.
